Who this policy is for
This policy explains how ZURIO handles information when an adult uses zurio.online, creates an account, buys a digital guide, makes a donation, contacts us, or follows a link to one of our ministry channels.
Adults manage accounts and payments
ZURIO is designed for children ages 6–12 to enjoy with a parent, guardian, teacher, church leader, caregiver, or other trusted adult. Children must not create accounts, make purchases or donations, or send personal information without an adult managing the interaction.
Information we collect
We may receive an adult's name, email address, account identifier, purchase or donation reference, amount, currency, and the information an adult chooses to include in a support message. We store the minimum records needed to provide account access, confirm payments, deliver purchased files, prevent misuse, and respond to support requests.
Payments and service providers
Paystack processes payment details. ZURIO does not collect or store card numbers, mobile-money PINs, passwords, or verification codes. Our website also uses trusted hosting, authentication, database, video, and messaging providers where needed to deliver the service. Those providers process information under their own privacy terms.
How information is used
We use information to operate ZURIO, verify purchases and donations, provide secure downloads, maintain account security, answer enquiries, meet legal obligations, and improve the ministry. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and audience measurement
ZURIO uses essential technology to provide secure accounts, remember a visitor's cookie choice, prevent misuse, and complete requested purchases or donations. These functions are necessary for the service.
With a visitor's permission, we may also use Google Analytics 4 to understand which public pages and resources are used, broad device and browser information, approximate geographic information, referring sites or campaign links, and non-personal actions such as opening an Explorer Guide or beginning a checkout. Google Analytics may set cookies including _ga and _ga_*. ZURIO limits these measurement cookies and our zurio_cookie_consent preference cookie to 180 days.
Optional measurement is off until it is allowed. Declining does not change how the site works. ZURIO does not send names, email addresses, payment details, prayer messages, or child profiles to Google Analytics. We disable Google Signals, personalized advertising, remarketing, advertising-user-data consent, and advertising-personalization consent.
Google campaigns and service providers
Where a ZURIO campaign link is used, permitted audience measurement may help us understand whether that campaign led an adult visitor to a public page or broad site action. This reporting is used to improve ministry communications, not to build advertising profiles of children. Google processes permitted measurement information under its own Privacy Policy.
Your cookie choices
Visitors can allow or decline optional measurement when asked. The choice can be changed at any time through Cookie settings in the website footer. When optional measurement is declined after being allowed, ZURIO stops sending new measurement events and attempts to remove its Google measurement cookies from the browser. Browser controls may also be used to clear stored cookies.
Retention, security and your choices
Records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for service, security, accounting, support, and legal purposes. No online system is completely risk-free, but ZURIO uses access controls and secure service providers to protect information. An adult may ask about, correct, or request deletion of eligible personal information through our Contact page.
